2. Complete your application online*

The subsidy application has three sections: company information, internship information and intern information.

Company information must be completed only once, whereas the internship information and intern information must be completed per intern included in the application.

All fields are required in order to accept your application.

*If you are applying for 10 or more interns, we invite you to use this downloadable Excel form rather than applying online. Please note that only the student agreements will be required at this stage; other documents will be provided by your advisor.

Educational Institution Attestation

Attach the educational institution's attestation to your application. If you have several interns from the same educational institution, we will provide you with the appropriate attestation once your application is submitted. Please note! This document must always be signed by the educational institution.

Provide a signed copy of the internship contract. Both you and your intern must sign this document.

Obtaining the first payment

Once your subsidy has been approved, your advisor will contact you to send you the subsidy agreement. You will then have to return the following documents to receive a first payment corresponding to 50% of the approved subsidy:

  • Signed subsidy agreement
  • Copy of your intern's first pay stub
  • Your company's banking information
  • Specimen cheque

Obtaining the second payment*

At the end of the internship, in order to receive the second payment, you must send an email to your advisor with the following items:

  • Confirmation of completion of the experience analysis survey (supervisors)
  • Confirmation of completion of the experience analysis survey (interns)
  • Copy of the intern's last pay stub (including gross salary accumulated during the entire internship)

Both surveys will be sent to you by your advisor near the end of the internship.

* In some specific cases, it is possible to receive a one-time payment at the end of the internship. The terms and conditions will be explained to you by your advisor.
